Catalog description

Opportunity to integrate and apply knowledge and skills acquired throughout the AS in Exercise Science program in a 21 hour/week lab setting in addition to weekly classroom hours. Experience will be specific to the designated tracks allowing for creative in using technology to implement training experiences in our lab setting. Students will be matched with appropriate clientele by Department Chair and assigned a supervising instructor. The supervising instructor completes a formal observation and evaluation of the student every week. Coursework offers a capstone, experiential opportunity to developing professional experience in Exercise Science and related fields. Completion of all safety training is required prior to working with clients. Approval by the Faculty Admissions Board is required to register.
