Covers literature from the settlement of the Anglo-Saxons through the Seventeenth Century. Covers texts by both canonical and lesser-known writers in order to introduce the student to a wide variety of authors. Provides a sense of the complex historical and social climates that effected and shaped the texts. Co-requisite: NONE
