Emer Mgmt Planning Capstone

Catalog description

Students will work with a faculty member to identify and secure an opportunity in the community to design a section of an emergency response plan, a complete plan for a business, design and conduct an exercise of a plan, or other agreed upon emergency management task. All projects must include a GIS component and appropriate maps. The student will write a final experience paper which will detail the project, how it relates to emergency management overall, document the steps taken, and document the outcome of the project. *Should be taken in final semester*.
