Circuit Analysis II

Catalog description

This course covers AC analysis and is a continuation of Circuit Analysis I. Topics include: phasors and complex numbers, transformer characteristics and applications, filters, RC circuits, RL circuits, RCL circuits, superposition, Thevenin's theorems, Norton's theorems, and power factors. This course includes a weekly hands-on lab. The lab experiments are designed to verify and reinforce the concepts presented in the lecture. Co-requisite: MTH 228
