This course is designed to teach participants what the Department's basic bridge and culvert terminology is, including bridge and culvert types, bridge and culvert components and bridge and culvert maintenance items. The successful student will know the structure type; its basic components; the basic maintenance items; and the when, where, why and how of the maintenance item.
