Catalog description

Introduces the essential concepts pertaining to computers and the law. Along with describing the basic technology of computers and networks, the course covers the collection of digital evidence from networks and the internet, the use of digital evidence in criminal investigations and prosecutions, the types of crimes committed using the computer and pertinent laws criminalizing computer-related crimes. Course requirement: Student must have, or access to, a computer and an e-mail address. Co-requisite: NONE
