Catalog description

Covers all aspects of firearms safety, handling, maintenance and legal restrictions regarding police use of weapons. All students handle, fire weapons and perform student performance objectives (SPO's) as required by the Ohio Peace Officers Training Council's Basic Police curriculum. Course is open to Police Academy student's ONLY, instructor and the college commanders. Co-requisite: NONE
