Catalog description
Provides the student with the opportunity to put the knowledge and skills learned in the classroom and laboratory to practical use. The experience is conducted under the supervision of a faculty member who assists the student in developing a work experience pland and who visits the student at the work site. Preiodic reports are required. Students work a total of at least 150 hours(usually paid) over the course of the semester at a position obtained through their own initiative and approved by the CIS co-op instructor. The position is to be related to the student's degree program. required on-campus seminars(16 hours) are scheduled. Co-requisite: NONE
