Further development in the areas of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, as well as emphasis on communicative skills through personalized, open-ended activities. Continued presentation of grammatical structures introduced in CHN 112 and expansion of students' awareness of the cultures of the Chinese-speaking world. Laboratory work may be required. (Arts and Humanities elective). Co-requisite: NONE
