Catalog description

Studies tooling design concepts and tool making practices. Reviews of materials and heat treatment processes, followed by the studey of jigs, fixtures, sheet metal forming and cutting dies, forging dies, and plastic molds. A number of design problems are practiced to develop the basic tool design concepts needed in today's manufacturing environment. Co-requisite: CAM 110,CAM 111,CAD 125,MTH 110
