Catalog description

Covers fundamental machine operations as used in a machine shop in this hands-on course. Basic skills are developed in the use of such machines as drill presses, band saws, grinders, lathes and milling machines. Safe work habits in the shop are emphasized. In addition the course covers precision measurements and layout procedures, utilizing general, semi-precision and precision instruments. Co-requisite: NONE
