Provides an understanding of how biological systems are impacted by environmental pollutants and hazardous materials. Includes a study of plant and animal responses to pollutants, ecosystems under stress and in environmental remediation, and toxicology. The laboratory portion includes microbiological sampling, isolation and identification, experiments on toxicology and ecosystems. Co-requisite: NONE
