Catalog description

Gives the students further knowledge and experience in black and white photography. Allows the students to take the mechanical knowledge they have previously obtained and interpret it more personally and creatively. Strong emphasis on fine art photography theory, history and criticism. For weekend classes, exposed film should be brought to first class. Mature content, subject matter and/or photography may be part of course. (Students need their own 35mm camera which must have a 'manual' operation mode; camera should be brought to first class meeting). Post Secondary Options students need permission from the Dean of Arts and Sciences to enroll in this course. Co-requisite: ART 220
