Intro to Photography

Catalog description

Introduces the basic tenets of black and white photography as a fine art and the use of the camera as a tool for creative expression. Examines black and white photography from a historical perspective including contemporary. Mature content, subject matter and/or photography may be part of the course. Students must supply their own 35mm camera which must have a 'manual' operation mode. Camera should be brought to first class meeting. Co-requisite: NONE
