A continued survey of civilization with emphasis on its expression through the visual arts, from the Renaissance to present, focusing upon the relationship between art and its cultural and historical context. Upon completion, the student will have sufficient background to recognize a variety of visual images and genres and understand the historical context. Topics are not limited to Western art and civilization. (Arts and Humanities elective). Co-requisite: NONE
