Catalog description

Introduces the plastic arts and critical theory affecting those arts, which include the ways of perceiving, formal elements of art, media, design and architecture. Exposure to the ways in which artists of both East and West have expressed themselves. Fosters the understanding of the framework of this art (the culture that spawned it) and an ability to make critical judgments about art and culture. (Arts and Humanities elective) Co-requisite: NONE
