Catalog description
This course is a "bridge" course between the core courses taken thus far including advanced assessment, pathophysiology, and pharmacology and the clinical management courses that will be taken following this course. The learning experiences are intended to incorporate current theoretical knowledge including advanced pathophysiology and examination techniques learned in development of the advanced clinical practice role. Additionally, the course will prepare students to critically examine the appropriate use of various testing modalities including imaging, procedures and lab studies to formulate differential diagnoses, assessment and plan. Pre-requisites: NUR 6004 A, NUR 6006, NUR 6007 A. Co-requisites: NUR 6004 B & NUR 6007 B
