Examines the systems of power and oppression within the theatre industry. Analyzes the issues that face the historically marginalized or underserved communities in the industry, through the lens of multicultural plays about creating theatre/film/television. Compares how business practices of prominent US theatre companies reinforce or break down systems of oppression, and which approaches seem most effective in creating positive social change.
