Explores the founding of Islam and the life of the Prophet Muhammad, as well as legal, ethical, and mystical responses to the Qur’an, Hadith, and other Islamic texts. Evaluates Islam in its diverse expressions worldwide. Utilizes object-based learning through engagement with material and visual culture.
