Provides the opportunity to actively participate in a community-engaged project with a local community partner organization for the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources. Implements a project that may enrich health through skilled physical therapy, prepare educated and engaged citizens, strengthen democratic values and civic responsibility, address critical societal issues, and contribute to the public good. Applies the principles of community engagement and community building through participation in a project.
