Explores psychological theories and empirical research on gender across historical and contemporary social contexts. Examines how gender is constructed, experienced, and studied in psychology, including the impact of stereotypes and structural inequities in society, healthcare, and psychological research. Investigates the intersection of gender with race and other identities and systems of oppression, as well as strategies for promoting equity and inclusion within psychology, with an emphasis on resilience and liberation.
