Examines the nutritional role of vitamins and minerals in human biochemistry and physiology. Presents detailed digestion, absorption, transport, storage, excretion, functional role, and dietary needs of key micronutrients in humans. Applies complex nutrient biochemistry knowledge to research design, clinical relevance, assessment, and interpretation of literature through learning activities and discussion. Develop critical thinking skills.
