Catalog description

Explores biological effects of ionizing radiation at the molecular, cellular, and organismal levels with emphasis on vertebrates. Considers both acute and chronic radiation effects. Examines how indirectly and directly ionizing radiations differ in their ability to cause biological impact. Reviews how cell survival studies can be used to differentiate radiation effects amongst varying radiation types, and are incorporated into radiation dose limits.
