Covers therapeutic and professional skills to work in pediatric, geriatric, developmental disabilities, psychiatric, and offender programs. Includes advanced skills in designing and evaluating 12-month therapeutic activities and programming for frail elderly, pediatric, developmentally disabled, neurologically impaired, and other special needs populations. Focuses on professional skill mastery and continuing education planning. Designed to be taken as part of a six-course series to help prepare students for the American Horticultural Therapy Association Board Exam for Certification.
