Explains transformational leadership theory, research, and practices for the helping professions (e.g., human services, social work, education, public health, counseling). Examines the impact of transformational leadership on the health and well-being of individuals, teams, and the communities they serve. Evaluates the effectiveness of self- and collective leadership in actions, tasks, roles, and contexts (e.g., one-person nonprofit and large organizations). Facilitates personal leadership development, including leadership values, styles, and skills.
