Catalog description

Introduces fundamental principles of groundwater hydrology used by environmental scientists, geologists, and engineers. Examines groundwater occurrence, flow, and solute transport. Explores how geologic properties influence groundwater systems. Uses Darcy’s Law, aquifer characteristics, flow nets, well hydraulics, and groundwater modeling. Develops quantitative skills for analyzing groundwater movement and evaluating hydrogeologic conditions in natural systems.
