Introduces Forest Engineering and provides the framework for understanding the diverse array of roles and job opportunities available in the forest engineering field. Includes a series of lectures and assignments related to engineering skills and tools, an understanding of scientific method and engineering ethics, and a diverse mix of guest speakers representing recent forest engineering graduates, supplementing the Instructor lectures covering the broad array of job and career opportunities including options related to professional engineering licensing.
