Engages in transdisciplinary, community-based experiential learning focused on the first stages of the design thinking process: empathizing with stakeholders and defining complex societal challenges. Volunteering for at least 20 hours with a local community organization to build relationships, understand diverse perspectives, and co-investigate pressing local and global issues. Synthesize insights into clearly framed design challenges, laying the groundwork for meaningful, collaborative solution development in future contexts through research, storytelling, and systems thinking.
