Catalog description

Provides a background in quantifying the transport and fate of pollutants through aquatic systems with primary emphasis on lakes, streams, and estuaries. Applies analytical and numerical solutions to predict outcomes as a function of physical processes, biogeochemical systems, and hydrological dynamics. Trains students in designing and implementing models to simulate water quality dynamics in space and time.
