Explore the complex and exquisitely coordinated developmental processes that establish the structure and function of the mammalian nervous system. Examine the genetic and developmental programs that create the fundamental patterning of the nervous system, survey the roles of non-neuronal cells in shaping brain function, and investigate ways in which internal and external stimuli sculpt and refine neural circuitry.
