Explores daylighting concepts, terms, metrics, rules of thumb, and quantities. Examines the daylighting design process within a term-long architectural project, going from daylighting design considerations to an appropriate design solution. Emphasizes the integration of daylighting with other building systems and the use of daylight to promote building energy efficiency and occupant comfort, health, and performance. Demonstrates critical thinking and communicates about daylighting design.
