Catalog description
This course expands students welding skills by focusing on welding in vertical and overhead orientations. Students will learn how to properly weld pipe and gain experience with multiple joint designs, electrode types, and sizes. A variety of welding methods will be explored and may include SMAW, GMAW, or GTAW techniques. Prerequisite(s): WLD 121, WLD-122, and WLD-123.
