Catalog description
A continuation of PTA 105, this course includes body landmarks, origins, insertions, actions, and innervation of the upper extremity, head, neck and trunk, ascending and descending nerves, cranial nerves and autonomic nervous system. Goniometry and muscle testing, and palpation of individual muscles will be learned on the upper extremity and trunk. Course consists of 2 classroom hours and 1 laboratory hour. Prerequisites: PTA major and PTA 104, 104L, 105, and 109; co-requisites: PTA 110 and 201, or permission of instructor.
