Elective Clin IV

Catalog description

This course provides opportunities for the student to have clinical experiences to work on personal objectives and/or those beyond the scope of basic preparation. These experiences will allow the student to be supervised in the clinical setting in order to gain additional experiential knowledge, enhance skills learned, and/or validate maintenance of skills in Level 4 nursing. Students will spend a total of 56 hours over an eight week time period in clinical practice activities; in addition, students will be expected to spend substantial time to prepare for and follow up after each clinical day. Prerequisite: Matriculation in Nursing.
