Mobile Media Production

Catalog description

This course is an introduction to location based media production and editing with the use of mobile devices; smartphones and/or tablets. Topics covered include scripting, basic camera theories and skills, sound recording, editing, and distribution via the Internet. Students will develop skills through hands-on exercises and assignments. Students are required to have a smartphone or tablet that can record audio, video, download applications, and access wireless internet networks. Open elective.
