Catalog description
This course is a required supervised practice experience enabling the student to develop competency for the delivery of social work in a professional setting. This learning experience provides the student with opportunities to connect theory and concepts from the classroom to a Human Services work environment. Students will complete a 100-hour internship at an approved site. A medical examination, tuberculin test, background check and/or fingerprint review may be required. Prerequisite(s): HUM 101 and HUM 102.
