Catalog description
This clinical course is intended to build upon the student's existing knowledge base and designed to follow Prehospital Cardiology & Pulmonology. Clinical rotations focus on the development and refinement of the complex cognitive and psychomotor skills necessary for paramedic clinical practice and the effective management of critical medical emergency patients in the prehospital setting. This course builds upon the skill sets learned in Clinical I, II, and III. Students must maintain proficiency in those skills throughout the program. Prerequisites: matriculation in EMS program and C+ or higher in EMS 110, EMS 110L, EMS 111, EMS 112, EMS 120, EMS 120L, EMS 121, EMS 130, EMS 130L, and EMS 131; co-requisites: EMS 140 and EMS 140L.
