Catalog description
This course is designed to develop and refine the paramedic student's patient assessment techniques. It will also develop critical thinking and decision making necessary to effectively manage prehospital care of the infirm and injured while introducing the pathophysiology of disease, disease process, and reviewing human anatomy and physiology as it relates to prehospital medicine. Prerequisite: matriculation in EMS program; co-requisites: EMS 110, EMS 110L, and EMS 111.
