The course covers the entire PCB design process, including component library creation, schematic capture, and PCB layout. Students learn to use industry-standard software tools to create detailed schematics and translate them into PCB layouts. The course emphasizes best practices in component placement, routing techniques, and design rule checks to ensure manufacturability and functionality. Prerequisite(s): ELT-141 or ELM-104 or permission of instructor.
