Catalog description

This course is a review of AC circuit concepts including Kirchhoff's Laws, vector algebra, phasor diagrams, magnetism, and transformer operation. It also covers poly-phase systems, including three phase generation, wye and delta connections, as well as AC and DC rotating machinery. Three class hours and a three-hour laboratory. Prerequisite: a grade of C or higher in ELT 142 or permission of instructor.
