Catalog description

This course introduces students to critical thinking strategies and formal methods of problem solving, including application to real world problems. Students will learn the difference between open and closed-ended problems, how to analyze and solve problems, perform root cause analysis including cause and effect diagrams and fault tree diagrams, and the relationship between problem solving and troubleshooting. Students will also learn necessary time management skills and develop habits to support lifelong learning.
