Child Growth and Development investigates how children from prenatal to adolescent grow physically, cognitively, emotionally, and socially. Students will analyze both typical and atypical developmental patterns, using the whole-child systems approach to understand how milestones, theories, and sociocultural factors shape a child's growth. Key topics include prenatal development, early childhood milestones, family and cultural influences, and the transitions into adolescence.
