Creative Writing Internship

Catalog description
This course provides students with credit while they apply creative writing skills and gain work experience in creative fields. A learning contract containing specific learning objectives and evaluative measures will be developed by the student, site supervisor, and faculty member. Course requirements include a minimum of 40 hours of work per credit hour, maintenance of a journal to record duties performed, and a reflective paper or project. A letter grade will be awarded by the faculty coordinator based on successful completion of the objectives in the learning contract and satisfactory evaluations by the on-site supervisor. Prerequisite: Any 200-level CRW course or permission of instructor.
