Construction Workplace Safety

Catalog description

This course introduces students to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards, policies, and procedures for the construction industry. Topics include the application of OSHA Construction Standards with regards to equipment, personnel, and processes typically found in construction. Students will have an opportunity to complete OSHA 30-hour Construction Outreach training requirements to receive a Department of Labor card typically required in construction related industries.
