Intro to MEP/FP Systems

Catalog description

This course is an introduction to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems commonly used in buildingconstruction. Topics include heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); electrical circuits for lighting, communication, andsecurity; water supply and sanitary systems; and fire detection and suppression systems. Students will review blueprints andbuilding codes to analyze the implementation of systems. Prerequisite: CMG 120 or permission of instructor.
