Catalog description

This course covers the materials and methods employed in commercial construction. Topics include concrete & masonryfoundations; LMF, steel, and concrete framing systems; moisture, fire, and thermal protection; glass and windows; cladding andcurtain walls; and doors and hardware. Additional areas of study include safety, site preparation, building codes, zoning, andcontract documentation.
