CHQ Fuel & Emissions Systems

Catalog description

This course extensively explores fuel delivery and emissions control systems commonly utilized in commercial and heavy equipment of today. The emphasis is on microprocessor control applications applied to fuel management ignition and related emissions and exhaust after-treatment systems and devices. Principles of feedback control signals are investigated in laboratory exercises. This course has an accompanying lab. Prerequisite(s): ATC 116 or CHQ 116, CHQ 110, or permission of instructor.
