Catalog description

A detailed study of the internal combustion engine. Topics include design criteria, theoretical combustion concepts, energy transfer, cylinder head design, intake and exhaust systems and efficiency principles. Service operations and measurement techniques are investigated in laboratory exercises. This course has an accompanying lab.
