TROMBONE (MJR/MNR)

Catalog description

Private applied instruction for Music majors/minors with an emphasis in trombone; one 30-minute lesson per week and a weekly one-hour studio class. Content and repertoire will be determined by the applied instructor as appropriate to the ability level of the student. Students will perform on one student recital per semester per 2 hours of enrollment and complete a performance jury at the end of each semester, including memorization as assigned, sight-reading, and/or technical exercises representing a progression of technique and repertoire. Placement by the Music Office.
