SENIOR RECITAL

Catalog description

A balanced program presenting works from Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th, and 21st century repertoires to be performed in public. Recitals must be approved during a pre-recital hearing by a three-member committee from the Applied Study area. The program should demonstrate a broader grasp of repertoire and technique than the Junior recital. Time requirements: Bachelor of Arts 30 minutes, Music Ministry 30 minutes, Music Education 30 minutes, Performance 60 minutes. Prerequisites: permission of the Applied professor, 2 hours of MUAP 311, and successful completion of MUAP 225; MUAP 395 (Performance only).
